Drought's Over In Twin Cities, But Third Of MN Still 'Abnormally Dry'
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The drought is over in the Twin Cities, but dry conditions are still a factor in northern Minnesota.
Nearly all of the state had been in drought in early May. The U.S. Drought Monitor shows only about 12 percent of the state in a moderate drought Thursday, down from 25 percent last week.
More than a third of Minnesota is still rated "abnormally dry."
