Study: Sleep As Important As Nutrition, Exercise For Food Health
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A new study finds that sleep is just as important for food health as nutrition or exercise.
The American Thoracic Society said most adults should be getting seven to nine hours a night.
Researchers said a lack of sleep can lead to heart and lung problems, as well as hypertension, pre-diabetes and even depression.
But, another recent study shows that a third of people 18 and older said they sleep six hours or less a night.
