Schmidt Brewery Hosts Second Annual GermanFest

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The second year of GermanFest kicked off at the historic Schmidt Brewery in St. Paul this weekend.

Organizers said it's an opportunity to celebrate German culture through food, music, art and education.

In just its second year, GermanFest looks to be a popular addition to the Irvine Park area.

With so many German-themed festivals in the Twin Cities, GermanFest organizers wanted to focus on being a family-friendly event.
