Wis. State Patrol: Motorcyclist Succumbs To Crash Injuries

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A western Wisconsin man died Tuesday from injuries sustained in a motorcycle crash last Thursday in Rusk County, according to the Wisconsin State Patrol.

Michael Powers, 65, went off the road while taking a curve on STH-40 near Scheel Road just before 8 a.m. on June 18.

Powers, from Bruce, turned back onto the roadway, and was thrown from his bike.

He was airlifted to Luther Hospital in Eau Claire, where he passed away five days later.
