Aurora Couple Injured When Motorcycle Hits Deer In Duluth

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – An Aurora couple were thrown from their motorcycle when they hit a deer Friday evening in Duluth.

The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office says 62-year-old Curtis Allen Wick and 55-year-old Kim Marie Wick were driving on the Vermilion Trail at Three Lakes Road just before 9 p.m. when a deer crossed in front of them.

The Wicks collided with the animal and lost control of the motorcycle. Both flew off the vehicle and landed on the highway.

They suffered non-life threatening injuries and were taken to St. Mary's Hospital.
