4 University Of North Dakota Players Chosen In NHL Draft

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — The University of North Dakota men's hockey team has four more players who are NHL draft picks.

Freshman forward Brock Boeser was chosen by the Vancouver Canucks in the first round of the 2015 draft on Friday night. On Saturday, three of Boeser's classmates were chosen.

Goaltender Matej Tomek went in the third round to the Philadelphia Flyers, defenseman Christian Wolanin in the fourth round to the Ottawa Senators and forward Chris Wilkie in the sixth round to the Florida Panthers.

UND's four draft picks this year up the program's all-time total to 166 dating to 1963.
