White Bear Lake Man Charged With Stabbing Dad's Friend To Death
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) - A 21-year-old man from White Bear Lake is under arrest as police there investigate a murder.
Officers were called to a home on the 2500 block of Crown Hill Court Thursday afternoon for some sort of a disturbance.
When they got there, they questioned Joseph Derks.
He told officers he stabbed his father's friend in the back of the head because that man was choking his younger brother.
Derks also stabbed his brother during the struggle and he was taken to the hospital.
Derks faces second-degree murder charges and is expected in court on Monday.
