According to the state patrol, the Uber vehicle was capturing footage for Microsoft’s Bing online mapping system while speeding.

The first citation was given on July 27 in Marshall County after the vehicle was caught going 79 mph in a 55 mph zone.

The second citation was handed out on Aug. 4 on Highway 2 near Crookston when another trooper cited the same driver for going 87 mph in a 55 mph zone.
