MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A “Go-To” transit card will now work anywhere in the metro-area.

Metro Transit users can now access Hourcars with their “Go-To” card.

Hourcar users previously had to carry a specially designed key fob to unlock the car-sharing vehicles. Now, they can just scan a”Go-To” card reader and drive.

This makes the Twin Cities one of the first cities in the U.S. to use one pass to access multiple forms of transportation.

The new program was officially goes live Monday.
