MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Minnesota plays host to one Republican presidential hopeful while another cancels.
New Jersey Governor Chris Christie will be at the Minikahda Club in Minneapolis Thursday to raise money for his campaign.
His competitor, Florida Senator Marco Rubio, was also scheduled to make an appearance at the Minneapolis Club Thursday. That’s now been canceled.
Rubio’s spokesman says he’ll stay in Washington to be a part of the Iran nuclear deal vote.
