St. Paul's The Glockenspiel To Close This Week

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Glockenspiel in St. Paul will celebrate one last time Wednesday before closing for good, the bar and restaurant announced Sunday.

The Glockenspiel says that their current landlords "at no surprise" to them decided not to renew their lease, which expires at the end of the year.

"We are saddened to do this," the bar wrote to its patrons. "You have been our friends and family for many years and (we) want to thank you so much for all the good times and patronage."

The bar will be opened one last time on Wednesday, from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The bar's last full day of business was Sunday, Nov. 22.
