The golf legend known as “Wild Thing” is practically a folk hero due to his long drives and hard living. And as seen in this video, he can play guitar, sing and sport an American flag blazer all at the same time!
Johnny Mac is arguably one of the greatest tennis players ever, and he certainly had a heavy-metal attitude in his prime. So it’s no surprise that he fancies himself a bar-band rock star. After watching this performance, you may hear the ghost of Kurt Cobain scream “You cannot be serious!”

Retired pro-soccer star Alexi Lalas was a 90s sports icon, and he definitely looked like a grunge rocker. He also has something in common with the aforementioned John Daly: they were both homies with Hootie and the Blowfish. Lalas’ band even opened for Hootie during a leg of one of their European tours.
The former NFL punter is more famous for his off-the-field criticism of the league on social issues, which ultimately left him persona non grata. Luckily, he still has his hobbies – including playing bass for the band Tripping Icarus.
