'Trees Of Hope' Phone Bank Raises More Than $13K For SafeJourney

UPDATE: Online donations reached $5,395. The total money raised equaled $19,257.

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The "Trees of Hope" campaign continues here at WCCO and we want to thank everyone who helped support SafeJourney by donating through our phone bank Wednesday.

As of 11 p.m. Wednesday, the phone bank raised $13,232 – and we still have not counted the online donations!

This money will go to help those who are victims of domestic abuse by offering counseling, support, safety planning and other tools.
