Wild Goalie Dubnyk Named NHL All-Star

ST.  PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) -- The NHL announced Wednesday that Minnesota Wild goalie Devan Dubnyk has been selected an All-Star.

The NHL All-Star game will take place the weekend of Jan. 30-31 in Nashville. Dubnyk is 17-11-3 on the season with a 2.28 goals against average and a .921 save percentage along with four shutouts. He's tied for third in the NHL with those four shutouts and is tied for seventh in wins.

The Wild are 21-11-7 on the season and are currently fifth in the Western Conference with 49 points.

The NHL All-Star Game will feature a new format this year with a three-game tournament. Four teams will play a 3-on-3 format and each team will have six forwards, three defensemen and two goalies. Games will be 20 minutes long.

Dubnyk is on team from the Central Division and was the only Wild player selected.
