Police & FBI Seeking Suspect In Lunds & Byerly's Robbery
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Golden Valley Police Department and FBI are seeking the public's help in identifying and locating the person who robbed a US Bank inside a Lunds & Byerly's store Monday.
According to police, officers were dispatched at 5:15 p.m. to US Bank inside the store – located at 5745 Duluth Street in Golden Valley -- on the report of a robbery.
There, police learned the suspect approached the bank counter and gave the teller a note demanding money. The employee then handed the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect then left the store.
Police describe the suspect as a black male in his early-20s, 5-foot-11, thin build with a light mustache, thin lips and clear complexion. He was wearing a gray hooded coat with a gray hooded sweatshirt, black cargo pants, gray tennis shoes and a colorful scarf.
Anyone with information is asked to call the police tip line at 763-512-2500 or the FBI at 763-569-8000. There may be a reward for information that leads to identification and arrest of the robber.
