Brooklyn Park Police Warn Of String Of Thefts At Fitness Center

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Brooklyn Park Police are warning residents to be on the lookout after a string of thefts at a local fitness center.

Police say there have been 17 thefts recently at an LA Fitness in Brooklyn Park, where suspects have been retrieving car keys from lockers and stealing valuables from vehicles nearby.

Investigators released photos of the four potential suspects in the crimes, and are asking anyone with information to call Detective Czapar at 763-493-8287.

Police say the thefts highlight the need to keep your keys with you while you're working out at the gym, and to leave whatever valuables you don't need at home.
