Sheriff: 4 Hurt After Two Pick-Up Trucks Hit Head-On In Benton County

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Authorities say four people were injured Monday night in a head-on crash in Benton County.

Authorities responded at about 6:35 p.m. to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of County Road 33 and 5th Ave. NE. When officers arrived, two pick-up trucks had been involved in a head-on collision.

The drivers of both vehicles and two passengers were taken to St. Cloud Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. What led up to the crash is under investigation.

The Benton County Sheriff's Office was assisted at the scene by the Sauk Rapids Fire Department and Gold Cross Ambulance.
