4 Arrested On Red Lake Reservation In Drug Bust

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Minneapolis FBI says four people – including one minor – have been arrested on the Red Lake Indian Reservation in connection to a drug bust.

On Tuesday at around 3 p.m., authorities conducted simultaneous vehicle stops of two vehicles on the reservation. In the vehicles, four pounds of high grade crystal methamphetamine and three pounds of marijuana were discovered and confiscated. Over $5,000 in cash was also recovered.

Four individuals were arrested. They have been identified as 21-year-old Hernesto Jesus Montes of Brooklyn Park, 19-year-old Erivan Argenix Gomez of Minneapolis and 25-year-old Miguel Rios Quintero also of Minneapolis.

The fourth individual, a minor, was not identified.

All four have been transferred into state custody and are being held at the Beltrami County Jail.
