MNfusion: Xcel, Love Your Melon Create Gifts For Heart & Soul Tour 2.0

Big-name performers deserve big-name gifts! Or, at the very least, big-Minnesota-name gifts.

That's why the Xcel Energy Center partnered with Minnesota's own Love Your Melon to create one-of-a-kind gifts for Chicago and Earth, Wind & Fire.

Love Your Melon works to give a hat to every child battling cancer in America. The company was started by two University of St. Thomas students in 2012.

As part of their tradition, Xcel Energy center is sending the groups home with a piece of Minnesota. Love Your Melon created custom heart baseball caps for each of the band members.

But this time, 17 local children will also get a piece of Chicago and Earth, Wind and Fire. In return, the kids will get a Love Your Melon hat on behalf of the groups.

The rock and R&B groups are vising St. Paul on their Heart & Soul 2.0 tour.
