17 Minnesota Boy Scouts Recognized As Eagle Scouts

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- In the world of Boy Scouts, it's rare to reach the highest rank. In fact, only about 6 percent of Boy Scouts in the entire country achieve the rank of Eagle Scout.

So for troop 345 in Deephaven, Minnesota, there was plenty to celebrate on Saturday. Seventeen of their scouts were recognized as Eagles in a ceremony Saturday afternoon.

In the video above, photojournalist Tony Peterson talked to the scouts about how they relied on each other to get there.
