MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — The Minneapolis Fire Department rescued a person who fell down a manhole Monday morning in the North Loop.

The manhole was not on the street, but rather a pit inside the storage area of a building. The man who fell owned and worked in the building, according to the fire department.

Authorities said the man was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.

It’s not yet clear how the man fell in.
