BCA: Missing Man With Alzheimer's Found Safe In Elk River

UPDATE: The BCA announced the missing alert has been canceled. Maurice was located safe in Elk River.

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The Roseville Police Department is seeking the public's help in locating a missing 87-year-old man with Alzheimer's.

Roseville Police said Maurice Grundei was reported missing from his residence on the 2900 block of Asbury Street early Thursday morning. Grundei's spouse said he went missing sometime between 4 and 6 a.m.

Authorities are concerned from his welfare, as he suffers from Alzheimer's and diabetes.

Grundei is described as weighing 195 pounds and being 5 foot 8 inches tall. He was last seen wearing a beige jacket.

Police said he is most likely driving a 1999 green Ford Taurus displaying the license plate 3386HM.
