Lea Thompson To Be Honored By Twin Cities Film Festival

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Twin Cities Film Festival is planning to honor Lea Thompson with its Lifetime Achievement Award.

Thompson, who is from Rochester, is well known for her role in "Back to the Future" and the TV series "Caroline in the City."

The film festival plans to give her the award at its festival preview gala a next Thursday.

The Twin Cities Film Festival opens Oct. 19.
