With Thousands Of Runners In Twin Cities Sunday, Expect Road Closures
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Minneapolis officials are reminding drivers that thousands of runners will be on city streets this weekend – so expect street closures along the route.
On Sunday morning, the 35th annual Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon and TC 10 Mile race begin. The 10-mile race begins at 7 a.m. and the marathon starts at 8 a.m. Both races begin near U.S. Bank Stadium.
Officials say drivers are encouraged to check out the course map and take alternate routes to avoid street closures.
