Hunters Asked To Be On Lookout For Missing Twin Cities Mother's Body

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Ramsey County investigators are asking for help finding a missing mother of four.

Forty-five-year-old Michelle Newell of Vadnais Heights was reported missing in late August.

Investigators say she was last seen traveling with 51-year-old Timothy Barr of Lakeville.

Police say Barr told two people he accidentally ran Newell over with his car, and he hid her body under hay in a farm building in either eastern North Dakota or eastern South Dakota. He is now charged with murder.

The Cass County Sheriff's Office in Fargo is asking anyone with farm property to check for anything unusual.

Authorities are also asking hunters in the eastern Dakotas to be on the lookout this weekend for Newell's body.
