MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A Minneapolis man who was fatally shot in the Powderhorn Park neighborhood earlier this month has been identified.

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner identified the victim as 53-year-old Paul Anthony Knobbe.

According to the Minneapolis Police Department, around 10 p.m. on Nov. 1 officers responded to a report of shots fired near the area of Cedar Avenue South and 34th Street East.

Upon arrival they found Knobbe in an alley suffering several gunshot wounds.

Knobbe was taken to HCMC, where he later died.

No suspect has been arrested in connection with the case.
