Twin Cities-born rock band, 3 Pill Morning, is bringing its current tour to St. Paul for a Friday night hometown show!
3PM is riding the waves of its 2016 album, “Never Look Back,” which was released in the summer.
Joining 3PM on the bill is Arson River, Meridian Incident and Spoken.
Doors open at 7:15 p.m. with tickets priced at $13 to $17. It’s an 18-plus show.

In their 15th anniversary year, SimpleGifts has become one of the most successful and memorable non-commercial holiday projects in the region, playing modern arrangements of traditional hymns, carols and heart-warming original fare with stunning three-part harmonies, stringed instruments, and Celtic bagpipe and whistles
With a host of shows throughout the region, SimpleGifts will celebrate its official two night album release show and its 15th anniversary year with two Minneapolis concerts at The Parkway Theater December 9-10 at 7:30 p.m.

SATURDAY: Twin Cities Jazz Sampler CD Release @ Black Dog Café
Three local jazz ensembles are celebrating the release of the Twin Cities Jazz Sampler Volume Two at the Black Dog Café this weekend.
The bands include The Illicit Sextet, Cory Healey’s Beautiful Sunshine Band and Mississippi.
There will be copies of the sampler for sale, of course! Reserved seating tickets start at $20.
SATURDAY & SUNDAY: Holiday In The Heartland @ Dakota Jazz Club – Mpls.
Two evenings of great local music that benefits a great cause? Sounds like the perfect holiday event.
Dakota Jazz Club will be hosting “Holiday In The Heartland” gala on Saturday and Sunday. Musical guests will include Patty Peterson and friends, Lori Dokken, Alex Rossi, and Ginger Commodore.
In addition to music, the event will feature a silent and live auction, camper appearance, cash bar, VIP gift and more.
One Heartland is an organization aimed at helping children in need, providing care-free weeks at camp during the summer – along with year-round peer and community support and education.
Tickets are priced at $35 and doors open at 5:30 p.m.
