MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – One man was killed after a car and semi-truck collided on Highway 99 in Rice County Thursday evening.

The Pontiac was turning eastbound onto Highway 99 when it collided with a semi that was traveling westbound on Highway 99. The semi was drive by a 37-year-old Springfield man.READ MORE: Minnesota Weather: Drought Conditions Ease In First Days Of Fall
The 60-year-old man was killed. The 37-year-old man suffered no apparent injury.
