Motorcyclist Killed After Striking Deer In Roadway

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A motorcyclist was killed after striking a deer in Cass County over the weekend.

The motorcyclist was traveling in a group along County Road 91 (West Winnie Road) Saturday afternoon.

Near the town of Bena, a deer ran into the roadway, striking a 2003 Harley Davidson motorcycle. The driver, 54-year-old Glen Sass of Prior Lake, was injured in the crash.

He was taken by air to a Fargo hospital, where he was pronounced dead of his injuries.
