Alcohol Believed To Be Factor In Fatal Crash In Western Wisconsin

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Officials in western Wisconsin say alcohol is believed to a factor in a fatal crash early Wednesday morning.

The Dunn County Sheriff's Office says the crash happened around 1:45 a.m. on the 7500 block of CTY TK B in the Township of Tainter.

Investigators say a 22-year-old man appeared to drive off-road and crash into a tree.

Emergency crews brought the man to a hospital in Menomonie, Wisconsin, where he was pronounced dead.

The crash remains under investigation.
