Bicyclist, 47, Killed By Tour Bus On Hermantown Highway
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Minnesota State Patrol says a 47-year-old bicyclist was hit and killed by a tour bus late Friday night in Hermantown on Highway 53.
Jacob Joseph Sabin, of Hermantown, was biking south on the Highway when he was struck at about 11:25 p.m. by a bus driven by 70-year-old Robert Joseph Sieber, of Milwaukee.
Sieber was not injured, and it is not known if there were any passengers on the tour bus at the time of the fatal crash.
The state patrol is investigating.
