MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Problems communicating caused confusion for firefighters battling an overnight fire at a mobile home park in Dayton.

Fire officials says English is not the first language of the people who live in the home on Gaywood Drive, so firefighters thought someone could have been inside when they arrived.

After searching the mobile home several times, they determined the home was vacant.

The home was destroyed in the fire. Two neighboring homes also sustained damage.
