Amy Kyllo Crowned 2019's Princess Kay Of The Milky Way

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A new princess reigns over Minnesota's dairy farms Wednesday night.

The dairy community crowned Amy Kyllo the 66th Princess Kay of the Milky Way. The 19-year-old from Byron will spend the next year representing dairy farmers at public appearances across the state.

Her first order of business? Sit inside a rotating cooler at the Minnesota State Fair Dairy Building for about eight hours on Thursday. There, sculptors will carve her likeness into a 90-pound block of butter.
