Man Killed In Moped Collision With SUV

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A 43-year-old man has died after his moped collided with an SUV in north Minneapolis Thursday evening.

The crash happened on 41st Avenue North and Girard Avenue North just before 6 p.m. The man, identified as Patrick Schichel, was transported to North Memorial Hospital where he died early Friday morning from his injuries.

The Minneapolis Police Department is investigating.
