Man Suffers Gunshot Wound To Face Near East Lake Street In Minneapolis

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Minneapolis police are investigating after a man was shot in the cheek Thursday evening near East Lake Street.

Officers responded to reports of a shooting on the 3000 16th Avenue South at about 7 p.m., where they found the gunshot victim. He was alert and able to speak to officers.

The victim's injuries are considered non-life threatening.
