Man, 82, Dies After Car Crashes Into Tree In Pine Co.
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A man is dead after crashing his car into a tree Sunday evening in Pine County.
According to the state patrol, the 82-year-old was traveling south on I-35 near milepost 179 when his vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree.
The driver, identified as Donald Anthony Welter of Pine City, was transported to North Memorial but died from his injuries.
