MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Officials in the north metro say a man is recovering after being shot on a bus.
The New Hope Police Department says officers responded to the shooting shortly after 9 p.m. Thursday to a bus stopped near the intersection of 42nd Avenue North and Gettysburg Avenue.READ MORE: Family Mourns 'Loving' And 'Gentle' St. Paul Man After Fatal Hit-And-Run
Inside the bus was a man suffering a gunshot wound to his leg. His injuries were described as non-life-threatening.READ MORE: Minnesota Gophers Beat Maryland 34-16

The Metropolitan Council said the bus, which is operated by First Transit, is part of its regional fleet.
