Sheriff: None Hurt After Plane Crashes Near Ely Municipal Airport
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Authorities in St. Louis County say no one was hurt after a plane crashed near the Ely Municipal Airport Tuesday morning.
According to the sheriff's office, emergency crews responded around 11:15 a.m. Upon arrival, officials determined that the pilot, the sole occupant of the plane, was not injured.
Officials say the single-engine plane sustained minor damage during the landing.
The incident remains under investigation.
