MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Crews are actively searching Thursday for a man who went into the Mississippi River between Minneapolis and St. Paul Wednesday evening and hasn’t resurfaced.
Crews were called to Hidden Falls Regional Park at about 7 p.m. after a bystander reported seeing a 39-year-old man go underwater and never come back up.
The recovery mission was stopped around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday and restarted in the morning. The St. Paul Fire Department and the Ramsey County Water Patrol are assisting in the search.
As of Thursday afternoon, the missing man has not been found.
