No Injuries After Crews Battle Duplex Fire In Minneapolis

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) - A duplex in Minneapolis suffered heavy damage to its roof after a fire started around 5 a.m. Saturday.

The fire occurred at 2939 California Street Northeast. When crews arrived, they searched for victims, but were evacuated because of the danger of the compromised roof.

The crews used several handlines to extinguish the fire.

No one was hurt, and the cause of the fire is being investigated.
