4 In 10 Want To Date Someone Passionate About Cuisine, Survey Finds

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Going out for a meal is a pretty common first date. But how much does the success of that foodie date play into the start of a relationship?

A new survey shows 40% of people want someone who is passionate about cuisine as a partner.

Respondents said the safest date night meals are pizza, burgers and salad.

About 38% say fussy eaters are a turn-off, while more than four in 10 say being a good cook is a turn-on.
