MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — A 58-year-old woman was struck by a car and killed while walking in southeast Minneapolis Monday.
According to a report from the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office, Kelly Kielas was hit at East 50th Street and Hiawatha Avenue just before 10 p.m. She died at the scene.
Minneapolis police are investigating her death. Police said the driver stopped immediately and is cooperating.
