Climber Shuts Down Traffic On Duluth's Aerial Lift Bridge
DULUTH, Minn. (WCCO) -- Duluth police say traffic was closed on the iconic Aerial Lift Bridge for part of Thursday evening after someone scaled it.
In since-deleted tweets, the police department said officers and firefighters were at the scene "communicating with an individual who climbed to the top" of the bridge.
It's not clear how the situation was resolved, but police later tweeted at 8:21 p.m. that the bridge had reopened.
