Pauleen is a journalist with a passion for telling stories. Nothing makes her happier than talking to ordinary extraordinary people, and using beautiful pictures and solid writing to share their amazing stories with the world.

Pauleen comes to WCCO from CBS 58 in Milwaukee. In nearly three years, her work in Milwaukee earned her three Emmy nominations, and first place Wisconsin Broadcasters Association awards in Best Use of Video and Live Reporting.

Prior to Milwaukee, she served as a morning anchor in Fort Wayne, Ind. and was a key contributor to building and launching the station’s new morning show, Fort Wayne’s NBC TODAY in Nov. 2016. The show grew steadily in viewership with each ratings period during her time with the station.

Pauleen began her career as a general assignment reporter, fill-in anchor and producer for WKBT-News 8, the CBS affiliate in La Crosse, Wis.

She is originally from Eagan, Minn. and graduated in May 2011 from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minn. with a bachelor of arts majoring in communication and journalism, and minoring in renaissance (general business) as well as political science.

Pauleen is a member of the Asian American Journalist Association.
