Ren Clayton grew up in Minneapolis as a true sports fanatic. He especially loves watching the Olympics, the Masters Tournament, and the World Series.

After graduating from Concordia University, St. Paul, Ren produced a high school sports magazine show in the Twin Cities, then went on to become a sports anchor and reporter in Rapid City, S.D., followed by a stint reporting at KHON 2 in Honolulu.

Telling the human stories of people in sports is his passion, and he’s grateful to be back working in his hometown.

“I want to serve the people of Minnesota by telling their best sports stories,” he says.

When he’s not working, you can find Ren playing (what else?) sports.

“My hobbies include golf, softball, and snowboarding.”
