Fall News Internship 2019WCCO-TV’s News Internship Program is designed to provide experience for students pursuing careers in television broadcasting. Interns have the opportunity to shadow and assist our staff to learn more about the television business, specifically Broadcast News.
MeteorologistAnalyze, produce and deliver lifestyle-driven weather forecasts on television, online, radio and other methods of distribution.
Executive Producer (Evening)Oversee strategy and execution of evening news on all platforms. Motivate our team to create unique, visual, emotional and compelling content.
Chief PhotographerTalented photojournalist and creative coach to lead our team of photographers at Minnesota’s Most Watched station.
Accounts Payable/ReceptionistReceive all incoming accounting mail to distribute and log checks received.
Technical Director/DirectorPrimarily TD/Direct live daily newscasts and other productions, including special events, using ROSS OverDrive automation. Candidate must understand and accept the responsibility and accountability that comes with this position.
PhotojournalistShoot, edit news & sports stories and operate live truck.
Account ExecutiveSell television time, online and new media for WCCO-TV and WCCO.com. Generate revenue with new accounts by prospecting local businesses in the Minneapolis/St. Paul DMA.
