Best Hotel Pools In Minnesota

Much of the fun of staying in a hotel comes from the amenities. Especially when traveling as a family, a great pool experience can be one of the highlights of the trip. Why spend money going out when you can spend the day splashing your brother, dunking your sister or pulling your mom away from the hot tub to come and play? This is not always the case with hotel pools, but with these you'll feel like you have to. If you're traveling, make sure you're going to a place that understands your swimming pool needs.

There are actually two hotels at Minneapolis' historic depot, and guests of both will have access to one of the coolest swimming pools and waterparks in the city. With enormous slides, water falls, games and space just to splash and play around, the waterpark is worth the visit alone. Guests will get day passes, and if other guests wish to join, they receive discounted passes as well. When traveling to Minneapolis as a family, the hotel should be part of the fun, not a hassle.

This boutique hotel in downtown St. Paul, located at the top of a lavish building built in 1917, offers a quaint and cozy stay in a historic setting. The pool, you ask? Well, for a small added fee you have access to the grand, elegant St. Paul Athletic Club, anything but quaint, when you stay at the hotel. This means you also have access to the incredible pool, built with the building and done in Greek-bath style, which is unlike any other hotel pool you're likely to find in Minnesota. The steam rooms and saunas are an added bonus.

This is as much of a water park as it is a hotel. It's a resort that understands the need to swim and slide and dunk and splash, no matter your age. Float down the lazy river. Rocket down the four-story slide into the enormous pool where friends and family await. It's fun for the whole family, as there is plenty of space for those looking to get wet, but not too wild. When the cold of winter gets to be too much, take a trip and check into the hotel, and check out the water adventures to be had.

Oh, and the pool? The modern, always clean, comfortable pool is a great way to relax after a day out in the city. Swim a few laps or just stick your feet in, but make sure you take advantage of the pool before hitting the city again tomorrow.
