Tommygun’s Paint Wars provides seven varied fields that include grassland, wooded areas and plenty of bunkers. The company offers two package options for paintball players. The first, priced at $50, includes access to all seven fields, rental equipment and 500 paintballs. The second option, priced at $65, includes all of the previously listed plus 1,000 paintballs rather than 500. Paintballs must be purchased from the pro shop. Group discounts are available.

The Adventure Zone consists of seven fields across 30 wooded acres. The field has been open for more than 20 years and open-play games are available on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Private sessions are available seven days each week. Players can purchase season passes or pay by the game. Rental equipment and day packages are available as well.

Walk-on games are available from noon until 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. The entry fee is $20 and rental packages start at $15. Season passes are $75. The minimum playing age is 10 years old.

Air Assault Paintball offers more than 17,000 square feet of indoor paintball space. Players participate on astroturf in a climate-controlled arena, according to the company’s website. Walk-on games are played from noon until 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, and private party packages are available. The entry fee for open play is $20 and rental packages start at $15. Players must purchase paint to be used in play from the facility.

Annandale Paintball has two tournament fields, as well as a concept field. The company, which has a reputation for a friendly staff, coordinates games for up to 100 participants.
