The Good Life For Less: Half-Off Entertainment

If you enjoy going to plays, comedy clubs, or other special events around town, you are not alone. It's nice to get gussied up for a night out at a play or just plain fun to laugh your butt off for an hour or two on a Friday night. The only draw back I find is the cost and all those fees, fees, fees!

Well, there's a new kid in town that could help you save some money on those tickets -- sometimes up to half price or more. It's called Goldstar and they just started in Minnesota in May.

They are already operating in 12 other markets and offer half-price deals on theater, performing arts, music, sports, family attractions, comedy and more.

One of the great deals on their site right now are half-price tickets to Cirque du Soleil's Alegria coming at the end of the month. They also have tickets to the Guthrie Theater, Children's Theatre Company, Acme Comedy Club, Lynx games, Orchestra Hall and so much more. Check out the events for yourself.

And remember, if you are planning a trip, websites like this one that operate in multiple cities can save you money on entertainment when you travel too. Broadway play? Vegas show? Just change locations to check ahead of time for something fun to do while you are there.
