Gallery: Goin’ To The Lake: All Summer Long
BIWABIK, Minn. (WCCO) — Thursday had Amelia and Mark working for their dinner on the Iron Range, but Friday held its own adventures.
The two were up in Gilbert, Minn., which is about 200 miles north of Minneapolis. Their first stop was at the Whistling Bird, which brings the taste of the Caribbean to the Iron Range.

Then the duo went on an adventure. They hopped on some ATVS, and took a ride through the woods.
Check out the action, and the beautiful scenery.

In the town of Virginia, which is about 15 miles west of Biwabik, Amelia and Mark learned about the industry that gave the Iron Range its name.
At the Minnesota Discovery Center, the two jumped on the antique bandwagon and toured the beautiful woodlands while learning how the mines shaped the community and landscape.
They also met a boy who knew an incredible amount of the area’s history.
